We've packed 3 interesting estates in the EOV Warehouse!
This is sale #2 of the Mick Paulucci estate & we also have an estate from an Ohio Quaker math professor & great variety of treasures from the estate of former owners of a northern Minnesota antiques shop.

First of all…the art! 200+ pieces of fine art & sculpture displayed on the perimeter shelf of the warehouse & in the southwest corner (look up at the walls & you'll see a big letter marking each wall N, S, W & E) &…well, it's everywhere! One of the standouts of the sale is an original oil on canvas by John Fery who, with Feodor von Luerzer, painted murals on the walls of the taproom in the A Fitger & Co Lake Superior Brewery, as well as oils on canvas. In 1914 these murals were installed in the Pickwick Restaurant. Fery lived for a time with Percy Anneke, equal partner with August Fitger. As a thank you, Fery painted this beautiful Minnesota woodland lake scene with deer in the foreground for Mr. Anneke. It hung in the Fitger's offices for decades until it was given to the Anneke heirs. Also, from Fitger's & the Anneke family is a mug with an unusual glaze by designer Jacques Sicard of Ohio's Weller Pottery in the 1910s & by signed Weller & Sicard. Fitger's commissioned a set of 12 mugs from Weller Pottery & the one belonging to Anneke is the only known one in existence. It was his personal tasting mug & was displayed along with August Fitger's mug & the others so guests could use them when visiting the taproom.

There are 6 large white marble statues & busts & many other large & small pieces in bronze. A few of the statues belonged to the historic Whiteside family of Duluth’s Whiteside Mansion on London Road. Mick Paulucci discovered them in attics & root cellars after he purchased it in the 1980s.
See our art catalog HERE for detailed information and prices.

We are selling 8 tables full of 300+ vintage & antique books! We love books, don’t we?! Among the great finds are several University of Minnesota Gopher yearbooks, two Bibles from the 1660s, Masonic lodge ledgers, Carlton County property records & a large, unusual book on Napoleon with a repoussage copper cover! Lots of interesting ephemera, too!

Other treasures include various sterling silver items & a monogramed “M” flatware set owned by  Harold & Ruth Miles, founders of the now defunct Miles Music Company of Duluth, the largest music store in the state up through the 1940s.

We’ve reconfigured the north end of the warehouse & you’ll find a huge fashion jewelry section, a section for smalls & odd, & unusual or delicate things. The fine jewelry & smalls are displayed in our glass cases & also hang on the wall behind the cashier. Please ask for assistance – we love to open cases for you! Some lovely pieces include sterling necklaces & rings, some mid-century Scandinavian pieces, several freshwater pearl necklaces, a classic opera length of cultured pearls & a stunning 14kt yellow gold ¾ ct diamond solitaire necklace!
It’s Mother’s Day! Go for it!

Also, in this area you’ll find large sets of MCM casual china. One is the Iroquois pattern by Russel Wright in yellow! It’s a MCM must-have & both sets are priced to move fast! You’ll also find numerous , colorful Murano glass barware items, large vases & oddities.

Our sales floor is set up with MCM, current period & antique furniture, lamps & rugs, including some great benches, antique baby cribs, a French curved glass cabinet & two large, antique, carved sideboards from Germany. Check out the cute boy’s twin bed frame hand made to be a red race car! And please, please, Someone buy our large plate glass dining table with 6 parsons chairs, all in excellent condition!
We’ve been trying to sell the set for a year for our good client but no luck. We need it gone! The whole set is now priced a mere $200, much less than the cost of one chair when new! And what about plate glass table tops? So classy! So expensive!

You’ll find a variety of décor pieces, candle sticks, nautical themed clocks, figurines, decorative mosaic bowls presidential busts, wood carvings & a large collection of crackle glass & MCM colored glass. We love the

brass school bell & the vintage radios, including a floor model Zenith short wave! There’s a very impressive, ornately carved moose antler, too! We’re selling old & new kitchenware, cast iron pans, andirons, 2 Le Coultre clocks & dozens of different American & European beer steins!

Household items galore! Bedding, towels, table linens, 3 handmade antique quilts, a chenille bedspread & a vintage blue striped Hudson’s Bay Point blanket in its original box! Our Warehouse Location
1812 Winter Street, Superior, WI
It is downtown Superior, Wisconsin at the intersection of Tower Avenue & Winter Street.
The address numbers are confusing in that area so these landmarks will help you find us.
We are in a dark gray warehouse, set back on the corner of Tower Avenue and Winter Street, (it says Amsoil on the side) directly across Winter Street from a large business/factory called Charter NEX Films.
On the Tower Avenue side of our building you'll also see that we are next to a business called Phy Ed Fitness. This is the front of our business; however, we have no signage there yet. You must park in the large lot at the back of warehouse and enter through the door with the ESTATE of VALUE sign on it.
